Program Objectives:
-To provide a cultural activity in which youth of various backgrounds and interests can positively interact through creative expression
-To enhance the cultural experiences for youth and cultivate a deeper appreciation of the performing arts
-To provide youth an opportunity to perform before an audience

Auditions!
The Vogue Players of the
Philadelphia Parks & Recreation
Department and Ramp Playground are holding auditions for
teens & adults (ages 16 & up)
for their 2011 musical production of...

Where: Thomas Holme School
(Academy & Willits Roads)
When: December 15th or 16th 2010
from 6:30-8:30PM
(pick one of these nights)
What you need to do:
Have a song prepared; the song does not have to be from the show.
A piano player will be provided (Bring sheet music); you will also be asked to read from selected scenes. No appointment needed!
Rehearsals will be held on Wednesday & Thursday nights
and Saturday afternoons beginning January 5th of 2011.
The performances will be held on
April 7th, 8th, 9th, 14th, 15th, 16th of 2011.

Attention YPTC Campers!
Philadelphia Parks & Recreation’s
Young Performers Theater Camp is having an
Ice Skating Party
for all campers & counselors from
the summer of 2010!
The party will be held at Rizzo Ice Rink on
Front & Washington Avenues in South Philadelphia
on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010
from 4:30 – 6:00 PM.
Each camper will receive free admission and skate rental!
(A limited number of skates will be available; Please bring your own skates if possible)
At the party, you will also receive your DVD from your YPTC – 2010 performance!
However, you must respond before November 19th!
If you will attend the party, just call the Performing Arts Office at
215-685-2217 or send an e-mail to tom.dignam@phila.gov
Because of limited space, only campers and counselors from
YPTC – 2010 will be admitted; please do not bring guests.
If you cannot attend, call the Performing Arts Office
to arrange a time (after December 1st) to pick up your DVD at Waterview RC.
DVDs will not be mailed.
